How To Use The Client Portal.

Here’s how to use the Bright Line cPA Client Portal. This portal is an online management system that allows you to easily and safely send, receive and store all of your accounting and tax information online.

When receiving your magic link to login to the portal:

You MUST complete the client portal registration through the device, and browser that you first opened the magic link on.

What does this mean?

  • If you open the magic like on mobile the registration must be completed on mobile.

  • However if you open the link in a browser on desktop, you must complete the registration on desktop. 

  • If you don’t continue on the initial browser and device the link will no longer work. This is used as an added security measure for your informations protection.

  • How To Create an Account and Login

    Click on the 'Log In' Option from the “Client Requests” Email

    Click 'Create an Account'

    Enter the email address that we sent the Client Requests to

    Add a password

    Login

  • How to Reset Your Account

    Click on the 'Log In' Option from your Client Requests

    Click 'Forgot Password?'

    Enter the email address you were sent the Client Requests to

    You should receive an email shortly with a reset password link

  • Not Receiving Emails?

    The email went to your spam. Please check your spam inbox for an email from the Karbon Concierge.

Client Portal Highlights

Review Tasks

You will receive an email with your tasks. Click on ‘manage checklist’ to access the tasks you need to complete. You will automatically see all the tasks assigned to you for completion.

Comment, Ask Questions and Upload Files

You’ll be able to comment, ask questions and upload files on each of the tasks, which your accountant is immediately notified of and can take action.

How The Client Portal Helps You

The portal will provide you with more flexibility, you can comment and ask questions directly in the portal. Bright Line is immediately notified and can take action. This eliminates the need for email and keeps it all together in one place, so you can review it at any time.
